*Important Wheel Sizing Guidelines-
We are often asked- Your spare wheel uses an 17″ wheel, but the wheels on my vehicle are a different size, will this still work?

Although we use an 17″ wheel for our spare tire assemblies, the most important measurement is the overall diameter of the actual tire used on that 17″ wheel. In short, the measurement of the wheel diameter is not the same as the tire’s overall diameter. For every spare tire assembly we offer, we use a tire size that has the proper diameter for your particular vehicle model.

We use a tire with a larger or smaller sidewall in order to make certain our spare is sized properly to your factory wheel and tire combination. This applies to 16″and 18″ or larger wheels that may be on your vehicle. 

This important design feature provides reassurance that using the spare tire will not put undue strain on your vehicle’s drivetrain.
